2017/2018 Coaches 

OUTCASTfastpitch is pleased to announce our 2017/2018 coaching staff.  We are proud to offer a diverse coaching staff with an abundance of experience including former college players, former high school coaches, and coaches with years & years of dedication to fastpitch softball.  Our coaching staff is loyal, and many have been with the OUTCASTfastpitch organization for many years.

10U – Stewart

My name is Trey Stewart. I have played baseball since I was 5 and have been coaching ball since graduating High school. I have been coaching fastpitch softball for the past 3 years. I focus on the fundamentals of the game, and sportsmanship. I truly enjoy coaching. My goal every season is for the team, and every player to improve throughout the year, while having fun.

12U – Russell

Coach Russell has 6 yrs of coaching experience and going on her 3rd year with OUTCASTfastpitch.  Adrienne played at the college level at Columbus State and Mountain State University.  Adrienne will continue to focus on sound fundamentals, along with helping their young players develop a love of the game.

14U – Fisher

Coach Mike grew up in Huber Heights. He has been coaching baseball and softball for close to 20 years. He has been coaching  select softball for 4 years with Outcast.

Coach Mike is the character of all characters but he also knows when its time to play ball there is no goofing off, it’s time to get down to business.

14U – Stewart

Coach Stewart is one of the original OUTCASTS from the founding OUTCASTfastpitch team.  After a seller high school and travel softball career, Sierra played 2 years at the College level with Sinclair Community College, and later served as an assistant coach with Sinclair.  Sierra has 20 years experience with fastptich softball as a player and coach.

Coach Breeze is also one of the original OUTCASTS from the founding OUTCASTfastpitch team.  Sierra Breeze also had a very good high school career that lead to playing in college as well.  Sierra Breeze played 2 years at Sinclair as well and assisted on our 16U team last year.

Coach Wilson is going on his 6th season with the OUTCASTfastpitch organization.  Our goal for the 2017/2018 season is continue development of sound skills that translate to a play to win focus. We assist our girls in playing at the collegiate level by helping them develop skills videos, a college coach contact program, and a overall recruiting plan to help our girls navigate the college recruiting process and get them committed.

Amanda Tonkin

Coach Tonkin comes to the OUTCASTfastpitch organization after 3 yrs with the Sting. Amanda is a former college player/hall of famer for Division II Notre Dame.  Amanda was a pitcher in college and is a current pitching coach with about 20 students in the Dayton area.  Amanda brings that player understanding, and a winning focused attitude.

18U – Teal (Fine/Massie)

Coach Fine is a member of the National Fastpitch Coaching Association and has over 9 years of fastpitch coaching experience.  He is going into his sixth year as a coach with OUTCASTfastpitch.  Chris stresses softball fundamentals and sound mechanics for all of his players.

Coach Massie joined Coach Fine 2 seasons ago and is looking forward to his 3rd season with OUTCASTfastpitch.  Doug has over 20 years coaching experience, 30 + years umpiring the game at the local and national level, and has over 12 years as a hitting instructor.  Together Chis and Doug believe that success comes from hard work, self discipline, and a solid knowledge of the game.
